BMBF launched new funding measure for CO2 valorisation
With "CO2-WIN", the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has launched its newest funding measure focussing on CO2 valorisation. Deadline for proposals is the 15th of November 2018.
Mineral carbonation has been introduced as a new topic to the German research funding landscape. After successfully starting the project CO2MIN with HeidelbergCement in the lead, BMBF sees great potential in this area of research.
Topics of the call include:
- mineral carbonation
- artificial photosynthesis
- catalytic and electrochemical valorisation of CO2
- biotechnological valorisation of CO2
The call also focusses strongly on industrial symbiosis and projects must emphasise the strong potential for industrial applications.
